Articles of Faith

EBC adopts the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith. This confession of faith gives a concise statement of biblical doctrine. In no way is it equal to the infallible authority of the Word Of God.

In short, we believe:

The Bible is God’s inspired and infallible Word.

There is one God in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, the only Savior of sinners.

Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

The Church is Christ’s body, called to worship, grow, and make disciples.

Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances for believers.

We eagerly await the return of Christ and the resurrection of the dead.
